Qualitative research

Share

Our qualitative research provides an understanding of the motivations behind human behaviour, desires and needs. It uncovers the ‘why’ of a subject, through empathetic interactions with people and insightful analysis of unstructured information.

Christian Research is experienced in using a full range of qualitative techniques including:

  • face to face depth interviewing
  • telephone depth interviewing
  • focus groups (including extended and reconvened)
  • observation
  • online (including analysis of stories and diaries)

Examples of qualitative projects

United Bible Societies – a global project to help develop a global mission for national Bible Societies and identify the key issues surrounding the governance of such a concept.

Tearfund – group discussions to explore and evaluate a range of new fundraising concepts for Tearfund.

Oxford Diocese a project to help Oxford Diocese determine the future strategy for its diocesan newspaper, The Door
